It is a mandatory requirement for all purchases that you verify and certify that you are 18 years of age or older. Please note that LiquorByDoor is a marketplace which allows Australian liquor stores to sell goods through our website. By purchasing a product, you are entering in agreement with the seller. LiquorByDoor should not be held liable for the products supplied by the seller.

Shipping and delivery information

Both LiquorByDoor and you are obligated by law to refrain from selling or supplying liquor to, or obtaining liquor on behalf of, individuals under the age of 18 years. By placing the Order, you confirm the following to LiquorByDoor

  1. You are 18 years of age or older and agree to provide satisfactory evidence of your age to LiquorBy Door or its third-party delivery providers upon request at the time of delivery. Customers may be required to present a valid photo ID and provide a signature upon delivery. For deliveries to commercial addresses or residential apartment blocks, it's possible that the individual receiving the package, such as a receptionist, concierge, or mail room attendant, will need to display a valid photo ID confirming they are 18 years of age or older. In cases where the recipient is below 18 years of age and cannot verify their age with valid photo identification, the item will either be returned to a nearby post office for collection or sent back to the seller. Alternatively, you have the option to specify a post office box (PO box) address for the delivery of these items. Deliveries to a PO box will include a notification card, allowing you to collect the package from your local post office.
  2. Any individual for whom you are procuring the goods or to whom you are providing the goods is 18 years of age or older.
  3. You will refrain from taking or supplying any part of your Order to any location or community with restrictions on the consumption or sale of liquor.

Once you have successfully placed an order on the LiquorByDoor portal, our team will promptly process your request. You will receive an order confirmation email with details of your purchase, including the items, quantity, and total cost. Shipping is done by liquor stores (sellers)and  the details can be found on the product detail page "shipping information". We simply present the shipping prices set by sellers for the products.. At present, our shipping methods are designed to cater to various locations within Victoria State, and you can select the one that best suits your preferences and requirements during the checkout process.

The estimated delivery timeframes for your order will be provided during the checkout process and will depend on your delivery address and the chosen shipping method. Please note that these timeframes are approximate and may be subject to unforeseen delays beyond our control.

For your convenience, we provide order tracking details that enable you to monitor the progress of your delivery. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number that you can use to check the status of your shipment. Shipping charges may apply to your order and will be calculated based on factors such as the delivery location, package weight, and chosen shipping method. Any applicable delivery fees will be displayed clearly during the checkout process before you finalize your purchase. Please ensure that you provide an accurate and complete delivery address during the checkout process. We cannot be held responsible for delivery issues arising from incorrect or incomplete addresses. Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver your order to the specified address. In case of unsuccessful delivery attempts, a delivery notification or card will be left, providing instructions for further action, such as arranging a re-delivery or pickup from the nearest post office. In case of an unsuccessful attempt, the delivery service holds the product at a nearby post office for x number of days depending on the post office rules before returning the products. You agree that once the products related to your order are delivered, including deliveries to unattended locations (locations without any person present or where the person present is not acting on your behalf), the risk of loss or damage to the products is transferred to you. It is important to note that due to certain legal restrictions or geographic limitations, we may not be able to deliver alcohol to certain areas or communities. Please refer to our Geographic Restrictions section in the Terms and Conditions for more details.
